Located in the heart of the Central Valley, California Welcome Center, Modesto is just a short drive off Highway 99 or directly off Highway 132.

Or have a more leisurely visit to take in a meal and a show at one of the four theaters, marvel at masterpieces in the multiple visual arts galleries, or learn about the Graffiti classic car culture that serves as such a historic backdrop to modern Modesto. And don’t stop your exploration downtown because not too far away, you can fill any itinerary- be it an outdoor adventure of hiking and biking, a celebration of arts and culture from across California’s Central Valley. Including farm stands and u-pick experience for berries, cherries, lavender, pumpkins, peaches, and while you’re out and about, explore walking trails and greenways as well as hiking and biking paths.
